At Go Evo we have a few fundamental principles:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of one of our services.
  • In our websites, products, and services, we aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what’s visible to the public, seen by search engines, kept private, and permanently deleted.

Below is our privacy policy which incorporates these goals.

If you have questions about accessing or correcting your personal data or any other privacy issue related to Go Evo, please contact our support team at support@go-evo.com

Go Evo Inc. (“Go Evo”) operates several websites including Go Evo.com. It is Go Evo’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information that we may collect while operating our websites, products, and services.

WEBSITE VISITORS

Like most website operators, Go Evo collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Go Evo’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Go Evo’s visitors use its websites. From time to time, Go Evo may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its websites.

Go Evo also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users leaving comments on our websites. Go Evo only discloses logged-in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the website where the comment was left.

GATHERING OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Certain visitors to Go Evo’s websites and users of Go Evo’s products and services choose to interact with Go Evo in ways that require Go Evo to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Go Evo gathers depend on the nature of the interaction. In each case, Go Evo collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor or users’ interaction with Go Evo. Go Evo does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors or users can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities or products and/or services.

Information Related to Your Location and Route or Other User Content

Each time you access the MESH Tracks service, we record your route information, including your point of origin (which may be your then-current location), the address of your destination, the starting time of your trip, and the route you are undergoing as well as information about car that have been used. We maintain a database with these locations and route information, and may keep such information indefinitely to improve our Services and to provide other features that may enhance your service capabilities, functions, and your user experience. We may periodically receive your current location from the GPS hardware associated with your wireless device for the purpose of providing enhanced services. When your location and speed is used for these purposes, we anonymize them by striping it of all personal identity information prior to storing.

Some versions of our MESH Tracks service include a location and information sharing feature that enables you to send your location or other information to another party. These location exchanges are transmitted via the internet or text messages using Short Messaging Service (SMS). We record these location exchanges, and may keep such information indefinitely.

Upon termination of our Services, all your private data in your profile will be removed. However, information regarding yourself in connection with any particular event shall remain available within the applicable service, but shall remain available solely in connection with the event. Any other user submission data, email, or other such service interaction shall be removed from the applicable service, and shall no longer be available to you or other members of such service. Your private data will no longer be available at your profile after its deletion and stored location-based data will be anonymous for future usage. However, your private details may be stored for a limited time (stripped of location positioning data) for billing purposes.

  • Manifest.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Allows an application to write to external storage. The MESH Tracks app needs this to make backups of recorded data on the phone. No Media files, Photos or anything else is accessed, collected or used on the phone.
